Do Indian Passport Holders Need a Visa for Israel?
Yes — Indian citizens are not visa-exempt for Israel. Unlike travellers from some other countries, Indians must apply for a short-term visa regardless of purpose — tourism, business, visit, pilgrimage or family.From 2025 onwards, Israel has also updated its visitor entry rules for visa-exempt countries with an ETA system, but Indian passport holders still require a full visa application via the Israeli Embassy/Consulate or an authorized visa provider
Eligibility criteria for Israel visa for Indian passport holders
- Indian National holding a valid Indian passport with minimum validity of 6 months can apply for Israel visa . ( Israel evisa for Indian passport holders can be applied only if travelling with a group travel package )
- Individual who wishes to travel to Israel for the purpose of Tourism/Family or friends Visit/Business can apply visa through Travellerzdezire.

- Scan Copy of passport with minimum validity of 6 months (recommended 09 months) Passport must have at least 2 blank pages. MUST submit ALL PASSPORTS that you hold(including current/old/cancelled/expired/ special)
- Studio copy of photo – Specification 5.5cm * 5.5cm, 65% to 70% face cover with both the ears visible, no border, taken within 06 months, white background, only Studio photos accepted, scanned photos not acceptable.
- If invited by a friend / relative in Israel attach Invitation letter in Hebrew along
with the ID copy and contact details of the invitee. - If invited by person who’s working/ studying in Israel, attach Invitation letter
from the Employer/Academic institute/University for the family members. - Approval Letter/ NOC from the place of work for your travel (In Original)mentioning – Name, Designation, Date of Joining, Passport No., Purpose of
travel, Duration of stay and signed by authorized signatory with contact details. - Covering Letter from the Applicant for the travel/ If owner of the company provide Letter head (In Original)
mentioning – Name, Designation, Passport No., Purpose of travel, Duration of
stay and signed by applicant with contact details. - Personal Savings Bank A/c statement for the last 6 months with sufficient funds.
- If the applicant has a Business/ company’s Account, please also attach a copy of that account (for last 4 months) and a copy of PAN Card for the company.
- Salary slip for the last 4 months.
- Travel and Medical insurance with COVID Coverage.
- Travel Air Ticket –Booking (NOT CONFIRMED TICKET)
- Tour Program (Day-to-Day Itinerary) including Hotel Reservation.
- Photocopy of Aadhaar Card and Current valid Passport (1st & Last Page)
- Email Id and Contact Number of the applicant
